why we do what we do
Over the last 10 years Fairview PTFA have raised more than £90 000 for the school and we pride ourselves on raising between £8,000 and £12,000 each year. Here are just a few items that money raised by the PTFA over the last few years has helped to buy:

Last year (2015-2016) ) we had a fantastic year and raised a whopping £11,708! 43% of the total (just over £5,000) came from our ever-popular bazaars and the June Fair. Other profitable events included the KS2 Discos, which made a profit of £1,511; the inflatable afternoon that raised £1,183; Christmas cards, which raised £757, and the Teddy Bears Picnic/Tea with Santa, which between them raised £1,222.
In total last academic year the school were given a whopping £20,007 by the PTFA to spend on various items to support our children, including:

- £12,141 for a new projector and sound system for both school halls
- £1,600 to update playground markings
- £1,048 to purchase atlases and dictionaries
- £1,000 to buy new books for the library
- We have paid for first aid training for the whole school
- New Mini Youth Games kits
- An audio system for Caterpillars
- Table tennis tables
- Plus new books for Year 3, PE equipment, storage and a donation to the Eco Squad.
